The Chief Justice

Head of the Judiciary

The Chief Justice is the head of the Judiciary and presides over the Supreme Court. Appointed by the President in consultation with the Council of State and approved by Parliament, the Chief Justice is responsible for the administration of the Judicial Service and ensuring the efficient delivery of justice throughout Ghana.
