Ministry of Information
The Ministry of Information manages Ghana's official communications, promotes transparent governance, and ensures citizens receive accurate and timely public information. It oversees state media and coordinates government messaging across all platforms.
What we do
The Ministry of Information is the government’s voice to the people. The Ghana Information Services Department runs community information centres and produces official government publications. The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation operates GTV and regional radio stations that reach communities across all sixteen regions. We coordinate press briefings, official announcements, and government campaigns so citizens always know what their government is doing and why. Transparent communication builds the trust Ghana’s democracy depends on.
