Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture
The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture develops Ghana's tourism industry, promotes the arts, and preserves Ghana's rich cultural heritage. It positions Ghana as a leading African destination and celebrates the creativity of Ghanaian artists, musicians, and craftspeople.
What we do
The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture showcases the best of Ghana to the world. The Ghana Tourism Authority promotes destinations from the slave castles of the Central Region to the waterfalls of the Volta. The Ghana Museums and Monuments Board preserves our cultural sites for future generations. The National Commission on Culture protects and promotes Ghanaian traditions, including Adinkra symbols, Kente weaving, and our diverse festivals. We invest in the creative arts so Ghanaian musicians, filmmakers, and designers can compete globally.
