Ministry of Youth and Sports

The Ministry of Youth and Sports develops policies to harness the energy of Ghana's youth, promote sports at every level, and build a healthy, engaged, and skilled young population. It supports national sports associations, youth employment schemes, and community sports infrastructure.

What we do

The Ministry of Youth and Sports invests in the people who will build Ghana’s future. The Youth Employment Agency places young Ghanaians in jobs and training programmes across the country. The National Sports Authority manages stadia, sports facilities, and supports national sporting teams — from the Black Stars to Para-athletics. The National Youth Council engages young people in civic life. We believe sport builds character, health, and national pride — and we invest accordingly.
