Apply for a Ghana visa

Non-Ghanaian visitors apply for a visa through the Ghana Immigration Service e-visa portal, the nearest Ghanaian embassy, or on arrival at Kotoka International Airport depending on nationality.

Before you apply

Confirm whether your nationality is eligible for the e-visa (most are) or requires embassy application. ECOWAS citizens enter visa-free.

Step by step

1. Visit evisa.gis.gov.gh and create an account.
2. Complete the application and upload supporting documents.
3. Pay the fee online.
4. Receive the e-visa by email within 3 working days.
5. Present the printed e-visa at Kotoka International Airport on arrival.
